Daniel Ferguson
Elder Daniel Ferguson serves as interim pastor at Christ Temple Church, Los Angeles. Elder Daniel is a South Los Angeles native and has served as a minister at Christ Temple since 2015. Under the leadership of Bishop Emery Lindsay, he was ordained as an elder in 2023. Elder Daniel’s Christ-centered approach to ministry and community fuels his passion to serve people. As a bi-vocational pastor, he serves as a workforce development practitioner focused on preparing those in the Los Angeles County region for high road green jobs. In 2021, he was appointed to the City of Los Angeles Climate Emergency Mobilization Commission, where he serves as second vice president. Elder Daniel also serves on the board of Ezrach, a social enterprise nonprofit based in Leimert Park. He earned an M.B.A. from the School of Nonprofit Management at American Jewish University in 2014, and is currently pursuing his Master of Divinity at Fuller Theological Seminary. His personal mission is to help people realize and reach their full potential by making a spiritual, economic, and environmental impact in his community. Elder Daniel is most proud of being the husband to Jessica Ferguson and a parent to their three beautiful children. Along his Christian journey, he is continually reminded to “seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you”
